One-Day
White Water
Rafting

You Get the BEST of Both Worlds!
Experience
one of the wildest one-day white water rafting trips of your life. A
trip like this is not offered
anywhere
else in the Pacific Northwest. We raft the best of Hells
Canyon's rapids including the famed "Wild Sheep and Granite Creek"
rapids. See it from the other perspective as we return upstream in one of our
United States Coast Guard inspected jet boats.

This trip includes a fresh deli lunch and drinks prepared by
our kitchen staff. Waterproof bags are provided for your camera and personal
items. Dry gear is provided on chilly days. We do our best to make sure you are WET most of the day.
Dress accordingly. Wear shoes that will allow you to get on and off the
raft throughout the day safely. Flip flops not recommended. We recommend
that you bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat. Reservations required.

I wanted to write and tell you what a wonderful memorable
experience we had.
My father and I planned this trip because of his great
experience with your company a year earlier, when he had taken the Jet
Boat Ride. He insisted I take the same trip when I visited this year. I
coursed him into taking the raft this time, and I'm soo glad we did. This
was sooo much better than Thunder River at Six Flags!!! lol! Which was the
last time, my father and I had ever taken a vacation (20 yrs ago) and it
wasn't a fond memory!
Art was our Captain and he had also made this trip fun. He
was very personable, knowledgeable, comical and safety driven. This isn't
always easy with a large group of very diverse people from different
backgrounds, cultures and personalities, especially for an all day trip on
a tight ship. He took the time to answer everyone's questions and stayed
away from political debates between passengers!! I was one of the
passengers that jumped in and rode the rapids and he had to pull me up
into the raft. I was a bit frightened when I wasn't near the boat and then
couldn't lift myself into the raft. He lifted me into the raft as if I
were a featherweight. I'm not an avid swimmer, Art never lacked confidence
in returning me to safety and getting me back into the boat. His
confidence reassured me about keeping his injury record next to none. I
wouldn't discourage anyone that would pass on an amazing trip because they
don't know how to swim. Thanks Art!!!
We also were very impressed by the quality and amount of food that was
provided. Dillon and Art did a fine job presenting the food and cleanup.
There was even enough cookie-brownies for seconds!!
The
employee's in the lodge were most pleasant to deal with also, friendly and
courteous, allowing us to swap our t-shirts for the correct sizes in the
gift shop. Other companies seem to have the policy of first come first
serve and your stuck. We will be wearing our survival shirts with pride!
I can't see myself going back to a "float trip" in Missouri. They seem to
be very boring compared to this experience. I have no intentions of going
back and sitting in the 100 degree humid weather, pulling a raft or canoe
through the rocks and jumping in the hot brown water!!
Thank you and your organization for making my father, my best friend and
my vacation most memorable. We are now recruiting our friends and families
for an excursion for next year!
Take care and keep up the great work Hells Canyon Adventures!
